1. Huge Convention Centre With A Widespread Food Menu
Julia spoke about the food at the Ambani wedding, saying, “ It’s the best food I have ever had in my life.” She continued to explain her experience by highlighting, “You walk into a huge reception area the size of a convention centre and the perimeter is lined with different Indian foods, all separated by regions.” The Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant was held in the Jio World Convention Centre, which is an 18.5-acre business and cultural centre in Mumbai that is owned by the Ambanis. In other videos, different Indian cuisines are showcased, each representing a specific region with names such as "Kashmiri Wazwan" and "Delhi Ki Chaat,” and more at the wedding.
2. Mukesh Ambani’s Humble Gesture
In a different video, Julia talked about how she was shocked by the humble gestures of Mukesh Ambani. She said, “At one of the religious ceremonies, while the groom’s father, Mukesh Ambani, was greeting everyone, he said, ‘We bow to the divinity of all of you.” This gesture by Asia’s richest man just goes to show the values and morals of the Ambanis. Julia also drew a stark contrast between American and Indian hospitality by saying, “Americans could never be this nice.”

3. Five Star Restaurants From All Over The World
As highlighted by Julia, there were several five-star restaurants at the Anant Amabani-Radhika Merchant wedding. She said, “Ill Boro, which is a super famous hotel/restaurant in Tuscany, was also there. It has some of the best pizzas in my life. I am a New Yorker with very high pizza standards, and I ate to the point of barfing.” She also mentioned how all the ingredients and chefs from the restaurant were imported all the way to Mumbai.

Hu Tang, another really famous Asian restaurant in Singapore, was also presented with “phenomenal food.” Burrata waffles with pesto were another delicious delicacy available at the Ambani wedding.

4. Live Performances With Seamless Sound Systems
Renowned artists from the Bollywood industry, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Shankar Mahadevan, and more were performing live at the wedding. Julia highlighted that the sound systems were extremely seamless, she said, “They also had a sound system that was really loud for some reason but never hurt your ears even when you got really close to it. I have just never heard anything like their sound system. There were a tonne of live performances that did not sound live due to the sound systems.”
5. Everything Was Vegetarian
All the food in the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding was vegetarian, which was in line with Hindu customs. Regardless of being vegetarian, as expressed by the guests, all the food was delicious and phenomenal.
