Their marriage festivities started with a surprise wedding in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022, followed by a larger ceremony in Georgia on August 20, 2022. Fondly called ‘Bennifer’, the couple ended their first engagement in 2003 but maintained a friendly relationship over the years.

The rumours of the couple's renewed romance began with their PDA in a gym in 2021. The actors shared romantic moments in between their workout sessions which made it obvious that the two were together again. “They shared a kiss in between sets. They went to do their workouts with separate trainers but were not trying to hide their relationship by any means. They stayed close to each other while working out and hugged, were playful together, and shared a kiss in between sets. It was clear to everyone that they have intense chemistry and were having fun together," according to an ET report.
