Hollywood’s singing sensation and pop star Jennifer Lopez and her husband and actor, Ben Affleck completed one whole year as newlyweds. On the occasion, JLo expressed all her love and affection for her dearest husband with a post on Instagram in which the couple are seen smiling their hearts away.

Jennifer Lopez turned poet as she extended a heartfelt wish to her Ben Affleck on their first wedding anniversary on Monday, August 21, 2023. Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in 2022 at the ‘Little White Wedding Chapel’ in Las Vegas. Later, the couple hosted their marriage celebrations on August 20, 2022 at Ben Affleck’s residence in Georgia.

Lopez shared a cherished memory from their wedding day in which the loved up couple are seen smiling heartily with a cozy image of Affleck holding the actor and popstar in his arms. The ever-so-romantic and poetic caption of JLo’s post read, "One year ago today…Dear Ben, Sitting here alone. Looking at my ring ring. Feeling overwhelmed. It makes me wanna sing sing. How did we end up here. Without a rewind. Oh my. This is my life…Jennifer.

The Couple’s ‘Roller Coaster’ Relationship

Lopez and Affleck go down quite a few years and decades in their relationship, if we may say so. They first started seeing each other in the year 2001 on the sets of the movie, ‘Gigli’. At the time Lopez was still married to Cris Judd. Post a divorce from Judd, JLo got engaged to Affleck in 2002 after which the couple sadly split up in 2004.

A decade hence, the couple again began dating in the year 2022 and tied the knot this time around.
