Loaded with minerals and vitamins, rice water can help you get a natural glow on your face. It can tighten the pores, diminish spots, and create a shield around your skin to prevent pigmentation.

Because of its cooling properties, people struggling with colds and coughs should avoid it. If you experience a burning sensation in your palms and soles, you can also try this remedy.

How To Prepare Rice Water

  • Wash 10 gm of rice in a bowl and fill it with 60-80 ml of water.
  • Soak rice for at least 2-6 hours in a stainless steel or mud pot.
  • Macerate rice for 2-3 minutes to extract all the starch.
  • Strain the rice and sip the water throughout the day.

Dr Bhavsar advised against preparing batches of rice water in advance. You should prepare rice water every day to extract maximum benefits from it.
