You have to drink this tea first thing in the morning and evening. Therefore, add all the ingredients to a deep pan and allow them to simmer on low flame. Once the water starts boiling, you can turn off the flame.

Use a sieve to strain the ingredients, and you will be left with a hot cup of pink Ayurvedic tea infused with aroma. Your first sip will be a burst of flavour.

Dr Savaliya mentioned in her caption that you should replace your caffeinated tea with this herbal hot cup of ‘chai’. Your normal tea can worsen your hair issues, the expert added. “The effectiveness of this tea is due to the herbs present in it,” the caption read.

How Do Herbal Ingredients Help To Fight Hair Fall, Baldness, And Hair Thinning?

Moringa

moringa herbal tea

Dr Savaliya said that moringa helps to balance Vata (movement of energy) and Kapha (energy of structure and lubrication). The leaves of the tree are rich in calcium, iron, vitamin A, vitamin B, and zinc. These minerals are associated with the nourishment and growth of locks.

Curry Leaves

The Ayurveda expert mentioned in her caption that curry leaves are lightweight and have a cooling effect on the body. They are natural ingredients that can help to prevent premature greying of hair, fight hair fall, and promote the growth of locks. She said that these leaves also promote hormonal balance and improve the body’s sensitivity to insulin.

Curry leaves are loaded with antioxidants and help to remove dead follicles while keeping the scalp hydrated. This ingredient of the herbal tea comprises protein and beta-carotene, which are crucial to preventing hair thinning and hair loss.

Dr Savaliya mentioned in the caption that hibiscus leaves can help to create a balance between Kapha and Pitta (energy of metabolism and digestion). Ayurveda refers to the flower as Keshya, which means improving the quality of locks.

The flower is rich in flavonoids, mucilage fibre, vitamin C, antioxidants, amino acids, and hydration. It not only offers nourishment to strands but also promotes growth and adds a natural shine to them.

Rose

Rose petals help to balance Pitta and have a soothing effect. They help to regulate the production of excess oil by the scalp and control dandruff because they are mild astringents.
