“A well-balanced diet is crucial during pregnancy. Focus on nutrient-rich foods, including a variety of colorful fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins like poultry, fish, and legumes. This diet will ensure that you and your baby get the energy and nutrients you need during pregnancy,” said Dr Nagpal
Pregnancy impacts emotional well-being as much as physical health. It's normal to experience mood swings and sadness. To manage these feelings, try yoga and meditation–proven mood-boosters.
Make sure you get adequate sleep as it helps in maintaining mental health and also boosts immunity.
“Regular health check-ups during pregnancy are vital to monitor your baby's growth and development. These periodic assessments reveal the fetus's progress, allowing your healthcare provider to detect any potential issues early on and take prompt action, said Dr Nagpal.
