Daldal Ending Explained: The series that everyone is talking about nowadays is ‘Daldal’. This new series, ‘Daldal’, is a crime thriller inspired by writer Vish Dhamija’s popular novel ‘Bhindi Bazaar’. You will get to see actress Bhumi Pednekar star at the lead in this series playing the character of DCP Rita Ferreira. Daldal Ending Explained: Does Rita Ferreira Finally StopThe Killer? 

As we move to the final episodes of this series, we get to see the final confrontation between Rita, Sajid, and Anita. The people behind the string of serial killings Rita was investigating were being committed by Sajid and Anita. After Sajid tried to die by suicide to escape from Anita’s clutches, the police were able to nab him. While Rita’s team was convinced that Sajid was the sole killer behind these brutal murders, she knew that there was someone else involved, too. 

Next, Anita killed Indu, Rita’s partner, and her colleagues had to accept that her hunch was right. They realised that it was wrong to suspend her just for being uncooperative. Before Rita could convince her superiors to search for Sajid’s partner-in-crime, Anita had already made her next move. She went to Yukti Sadan Children’s Home, held the girls and the staff hostage, and forced Rita to bring Sajid over there. Anita gave the police an ultimatum that if they didn’t agree to her demands, there’d be bloodshed and death. Her whole plan was to target the do-gooders of society, do a profile on them for NewsIN90, kill them, and do a full report of their death for that news channel. Since Anita had been sexually abused by an apparent do-gooder like Fernando, she had formed the opinion that any person whom the world perceived to be a boon for society was secretly a villain. 

While Anita tried to get the hostages against Rita, they didn’t change their stance. Rita calmed them down and even promised to reunite them with their parents soon. While Rita was negotiating with Sanjay, Anita ended up killing Konkona.  At this point, Anita has truly lost herself to the dark side. 

Next, we see Rita free the life of a hostage at the cost of her own. Anita was not ready to let the hostages go free. To take a different route, Rita started playing mind games with Anita by throwing jabs at her gender dysmorphia. While Anita was busy wrapping her head around the fact that the DCP had brought the mothers of the rescued Pilawadi kids to Yukti Sadan, Sajid freed Rita so that justice could prevail. Next, Sajid forced Anita to kill him because he just couldn’t live with himself anymore. While Anita processed Sajid’s death, Rita got the children out of the building and to their parents. Towards this series ending, Rita tried to arrest Anita, and she set off an explosion with the help of the LPG cylinder in the kitchen, much like how Isabel, Rita’s mother, died by suicide. 

In the end, we see Rita trying to save Anita and then attending Indu’s funeral. We also see her go back to her ancestral house and rekindle her relationship with Aditya.

The story of this latest crime thriller is based on fiction writer Vish Dhamija’s popular novel ‘Bhindi Bazaar’. Actress Bhumi Pednekar will be headlining this series as DCP Rita Ferreira. Her character is set on investigating a string of brutal murders, which will also lead her to uncover the city’s darkest corners.
