While Kareena Kapoor got married to actor Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor tied the knot with businessman Sanjay Kapur. However, Karisma Kapoor parted ways with him in the year 2016. For her wedding reception in Delhi, Kareena Kapoor Khan wore a stunning pink gharara set from designer Manish Malhotra. This one had intricate embroidery and embellishments all over. The set had zardosi and tilla work. It was a beautiful combination of baby pink and gulaabi pink colour. Kareena's outfit had a vintage vibe.

Kareena Kapoor's look was teamed with a gold and emerald choker with uncut diamonds. She wore matching earrings and kadas. Kareena's hair were tied in a bun. We love her makeup, it was kept a little glossy. Kohled eyes, lots of highlighter mand pink glossy lips.

For her D Day, Kareena Kapoor wore the same royal golden gharara set her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore wore for her wedding. This gharara belonged to Saif Ali Khan's grand mother. Designer Ritu Kumar revamped the lehenga for Kareena's wedding. The wedding picture also has Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Kareena wore a heavy embellished pink saree with a sleevless blouse for her mehendi ceremony. She carried the look with a diamond set and matching earrings. Karisma can be seen wearing a white and golden anarkali set for the event.

For her Sangeet ceremony, Kareena Kapoor wore a golden and orange lehenga choli set. She carried it with a heavy choker, maang tika and matching earrings. Her hair were tied in a gajra bun.

Sara Ali Khan also attended the reception, she was seen clicking a lot of pictures with Kareena. In an interview, while talking about her bond with Kareena, Sara said, "Kareena still says that 'look, you have mother and you have a great mother at that.' And what I want is for us to be able to be friends." She added, "My father also never said that this is your second mother."
