Peddi Release Date: Everything You Need To Know About Ram Charan And Janhvi Kapoor's Upcoming Film

Finally, after a lot of hype and a slight change in the dates, Ram Charan’s next pan-India outing, Peddi, is all set to release. The movie, which is an action-packed rural sports drama, will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana and will feature the ‘Mega Power Star’ for the very first time alongside Bollywood’s favourite Janhvi Kapoor. Although the film was initially expected to hit the screens on March 27, 2026, the team has recently announced that Peddi will arrive on April 30, 2026, and is set to take advantage of the lucrative summer holidays and the May Day weekend.

The newly unveiled poster showcases Ram Charan in an intense, long-haired, heavily bearded look, sporting a rugged, bloodied face and a dust-covered avatar. Featuring Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyendu Sharma, Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and has music by AR Rahman.

According to IMDb, the movie’s gist reads, “In 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh, A spirited villager unites his community through sports to defend their pride against a powerful rival.”

The Telugu drama stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles, along with Shivarajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Dayanand Reddy, Chammak Chandra, Boman Irani, Upendra Limaye, Mime Madhu, Nitish Nirmal, Satya, Krithi Shetty and John Vijay in supporting roles.
