According to reports from Times of India, after the tragic incident, Seth transported the child's body to Karnataka. Authorities detained her in the Chitradurga district of Karnataka while she was allegedly attempting to escape in a taxi with her son's body concealed in a bag.

Suchana Seth Arrested For Killing Her 4-Year-Old Son

As per the police, in an attempt to prevent her estranged husband from meeting their son, the accused orchestrated a trip to Goa with the child. She allegedly killed the child in a room at a service apartment in North Goa before the scheduled meeting. The crime was discovered when the staff became suspicious, observing that the woman had checked in with her son but was later found alone. Emergency services (112) were contacted, leading to the police locating and arresting her. The boy's body was found in the car she was traveling in. The woman has been charged with murder and is presently in custody.

Police have informed about the incident to the accused's husband, Venkat Raman, who is currently in Jakarta, according to Times Of India.

She said, "In a moment of intense anger and, perhaps, a desperate response to the prospect of losing everything in her life, including her child to her ex-husband, the tragic incident unfolded." The fear of losing yet another battle in her life may have driven her to make a devastating decision, choosing to end her child's life to prevent them from being taken away by anyone else.
