Rekha Under Home Quarantine After Staff Members Tests Positive For Covid-19

In an update on veteran actress Rekha, she has been now asked to home quarantine. Just last week Rekha's bungalow was also sealed by the BMC after her security guard reported positive for coronavirus. Subsequently, two of her house help have also tested positive for COVID-19.  

Rekha has now been asked to isolate herself and her bungalow has been declared a containment zone. Her house named Sea Spring is situated in Bandra Bandstand, Mumbai. BMC has put up a note outside her house which clearly states that the person is under home quarantine and restricts any visitors. Rekha’s hand has also been stamped for the same.  

It was also being said that Rekha too has given her swab samples for the test and her reports are awaited. However, no official statement has been released by either Rekha or her team. Her staff members are currently being treated at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.

It can be recalled here that on Saturday, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for coronavirus, followed by Aishwarya and Aaradhya. While the father-son duo are still admitted to Nanavati Hospital, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan have been asked to home quarantine. The news got confirmed after Amitabh Bachchan tweeted about him coming positive on Twitter.

A few hours after his tweet, Abhishek Bachchan too confirmed the news about him being COVID-19 positive.  

The very next day, news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan being COVID-19 positive came. Abhishek Bachchan tweeted to confirm the same. This is what he tweeted:

Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers 🙏🏽

However, as soon as the news broke out, scores of fans and well-wishers poured in their best wishes to the actor. So much was Amitabh touched by the outpouring of concern, that he even posted a message fo gratitude for all.

On the other hand, the test results of Jaya Bachchan and staff members of the house came negative. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s condition is stable and they are currently staying in the hospital.
