Shah Rukh Khan aka King Khan turned 57 today and gifted his fans with the much-awaited teaser of his upcoming film Pathaan. The film is slated to have a theatrical release in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on January 25, 2023.

The Badshaah is back after a four-year hiatus after his last film Zero co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif did not perform well at the box office. However, 2023 is slated to be a blast for SRK fans with three releases including Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. The one-minute-25 second teaser video begins with a female voiceover, which seems to be Dimple Kapadia but is not unveiled in the video, narrating how Pathaan was caught by the enemies and brutally tormented during his last mission. However, Pathaan is not someone who can be easily killed and as soon as the voiceover wonders if he is dead or alive, Khan appears saying “zinda hain (he is alive)” and cuts to a highly dramatic action sequence. Khan is seen landing kicks, shooting enemies, and exploding godowns. Following this Padukone appears on the screen beating up gangsters and romancing Pathaan. While John Abraham, touted to be Pathaans nemesis and the antagonist of the film, appears with huge guns and shooting at Khan.

The teaser seems promising an action-packed experience with Pathaan saying “apne kursi ki peti baandh lo, mausam bigadne wala hain (tighten your seat belts, there is a storm approaching.”

“Apni kursi ki peti baandh lijiye…#PathaanTeaser OUT NOW! Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. @deepikapadukone | @TheJohnAbraham | #SiddharthAnand | @yrf”, wrote Khan on social media.
