Subedaar Twitter Review

Film critic Subhash K Jha praised the film’s tone while acknowledging a few flaws in the writing, “#Subedaar – A hard-hitting action drama with a rock-steady emotional core. Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Aditya Rawal deliver strong performances. Despite some uneven writing, the film remains engaging and intense.”

Actor Anupam Kher had earlier reacted enthusiastically after watching the trailer, applauding Kapoor for constantly reinventing himself, “Just when we think we’ve seen the best of Anil Kapoor, he returns with a new shade and energy. What you’ve done in #Subedaar is remarkable.”

Saahil Chandel, shared a more balanced reaction, appreciating the performances but hinting that the film could have been stronger overall.

“Watched #Subedaar… Anil Kapoor and Radhika Madan deliver powerful performances. Mona Singh tries her best, Aditya Rawal does a good job. There’s a surprise in the climax, but something still feels missing.”

Subedaar Plot

‘Subedaar’ is the story of Arjun Maurya, a war hero trying to make a transition to a peaceful life beyond the confines of the army. However, peace is hard to find. Arjun soon realises that he is caught in a web of crime and corruption that is not only a menace to him but also to his own family.

The story also revolves around Arjun’s complicated relationship with his outspoken daughter, Shyama, played by Radhika Madan. Arjun’s close friend Prabhakar, played by Saurabh Shukla, is a bridge between Arjun and his daughter.
