
Nothing has officially launched its newest mid-range contenders, the Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro, in India. While they share the same DNA, the ‘Pro’ model shifts toward a premium metal build and superior zoom capabilities.
The primary distinctions lie in the build quality, display performance, and the underlying chipset.

Both phones feature a triple-camera setup and debut a periscope lens in the A-series for the first time. However, the Pro model uses a superior main sensor and more advanced zoom processing.
Main Sensor: The Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT700C (focusing on colour accuracy and skin tones), while the standard 4a uses a 50MP Samsung GN9 sensor.
Periscope Telephoto: Both house a 50MP Samsung JN5 lens with 3.5x optical zoom. However, the Pro supports up to 140x Ultra Zoom (digital), whereas the standard model is capped at 70x.
Ultra-Wide & Selfie: Both share an 8MP ultra-wide and a 32MP front camera.
Video: The Pro supports 4K Ultra XDR video, while the standard 4a is limited to 1080p for Ultra XDR content.

Nothing has priced these devices to compete aggressively in the mid-to-premium segment.
Nothing Phone 4a: Starts at ₹31,999 (8GB/128GB) and goes up to ₹37,999 (12GB/256GB).
Nothing Phone 4a Pro: Starts at ₹39,999 (8GB/128GB) and goes up to ₹45,999 (12GB/256GB).
Sale Date: Both phones go on sale in India on March 13, 2026, via Flipkart and select retail stores.
