Sharing an image of The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives trending globally, director Karan Johar wrote that he never imagined for the show to trend across so many countries.
“So let’s put it in perspective! Of course, it’s cringy! (and bingy) Of course, it’s guilty pleasure viewing (pleasure is still pleasure) Of course, it may appear manicured and artificial (aren’t we all) Of course, it’s far from being intellectually stimulating (don’t we need a break from that at times),” he wrote.
Johar added, “BUT you gotta admit these girls have the sass and guts to put themselves out there knowing you may laugh at them !!!! I am super proud of them !! And love them dearly !!!”
He said that people could troll it as much as they want, but it will not affect its viewership. He said the validation lies in the number of people viewing it, and that’s what makes it fabulous.

The second season of The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives came after Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan declared that they were getting divorced. She shared that she had dropped ‘Khan’ from her surname.
Soon, people started trolling her and asked about her credibility on the show. They pointed out that she was not a ‘Bollywood wife’ anymore.
In an interview with the Indian Express, Sajdeh gave a blunt reply. She said, “I didn’t know women were defined by their husbands and their last name. Is that their only identity?”
The four fabulous women have impressed their fans while giving a glimpse into their lives on the show. This season many stars like Johar, Ranveer Singh, and others also made cameo appearances and spilled the tea.
