JioHotstar recently launched the reality show ‘The 50’, which has barely had time to settle into its rhythm when it has already ignited fierce debate on online platforms. From vicious verbal spats to full-blown physical fights, the show has been delivering a hefty dose of chaos inside the Palace.

However, the show recently hit a tipping point after repeated incidents of aggression, prompting widespread criticism from viewers. Amid this growing backlash, reports suggest that actor Karan Patel has decided to walk away from the show, making his exit one of the most talked-about developments so far.

The 50 Reality Show: Why did Karan Patel leave The 50?

According to Hindustan Times, the actor was disgusted after the fight between Rajat Dalal and Digvijay Rathee. Karan feels that such violence is not right, and has had enough of the aggression on the show.

A source quoted by the publication revealed that Karan was visibly frustrated and said that the violent atmosphere was affecting his mental peace. "It's affecting my mental peace, and I can't be living in a place where violence erupts," he was heard saying, before reportedly announcing, “I am quitting,” and walking out of the argument.

Much like several viewers at home, Karan was said to be taken aback by how casually physical confrontations were unfolding. His discomfort had been evident since the early days of the show, as he often called out problematic behaviour and did not shy away from voicing his displeasure.

The 50 Reality Show Contestants Fight

Violence has been at the centre of controversy ever since Rajat Dalal allegedly charged at Digvijay Rathee during a heated argument. The moment triggered outrage on social media, with fans demanding strict action against Rajat. Despite the backlash, he continues to remain on the show, and his behaviour, according to viewers, has not shown much improvement.

This was not an isolated incident. As the days progressed, tensions continued to rise, with frequent verbal spats and aggressive body language becoming a recurring theme. While the makers appear keen to let the drama play out, not everyone inside the Palace has been comfortable with the environment.
