Mukesh-Nita Ambani’s 40th Wedding Anniversary: Animal-Themed Cake Grabs Eyeballs, Video Goes Viral

A bakery in Mumbai recently revealed a special cake they baked for Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife, Nita Ambani’s, 40th wedding anniversary. Renowned pastry chef Bunty Mahajan took to Instagram to share the video of Mukesh Ambani’s wedding anniversary cake. The video unveiled a luxurious, custom-made cake designed for the special occasion. The cake featured a luxurious pink and gold colour scheme, drawing inspiration from Vantara, a wildlife conversation initiative by Reliance. The video further showcased the chef’s masterpiece- a grand, multi-tiered cake adorned with animal figurines, coated in a shimmering gold finish. The top layer of the cake featured two gracefully posed elephants along with glided leaves, holding a decorative sign inscribed with the words, ‘Happy Anniversary, Dear Nita and Mukesh.’

All About The Cake

Each layer of the cake was intricately designed with unique elements. A few layers featured gold-accented zebra and tiger stripes, while others displayed gold blades of grass interspersed with lifelike elements of lions, giraffes, and crocodiles. The centre of the cake was adorned with the couple’s initials ‘N’ and ‘M’. Talking about the cake, Mahajan said that the cake weighed more than 30 Kg and was conceptualised to reflect the essence of Vantara, established for rescued animals. Initially, the cake was envisioned to be in white and gold, but later, hues of pink were incorporated into the design, knowing it to be a favourite colour of Nita Ambani.

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani got married on March 8, 1985, and over the years, they emerged as one of the power couples and India’s most influential personalities. The duo celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on March 8, 2025.
