The Ambani family welcomed the Queen of Jordan with a grand cultural event at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). She was greeted with a specially curated classical dance presentation, which beautifully celebrated India’s rich artistic traditions. Who Is Queen Rania Al Abdullah?

Queen Rania Al Abdullah is the current Queen of Jordan, who became a part of the royal family after marrying her husband, King Abdullah II, in 1999. Over the years, the Queen has become one of the most influential royal figures all around the world. Her Majesty is known for her advocacy in education reform, women’s rights, global health and youth empowerment. She has even used her global engagements to help humanitarian causes and promote cross-cultural dialogue.

Before Queen Rania visited Mumbai, she was in New Delhi, where she attended the ET Now Global Business Summit and even visited the Chanakya School of Craft.

The Queen of Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo (1991). Since the Queen was born in Kuwait, she completed her primary and secondary education there. Following her graduation from university, she worked briefly in marketing for Citibank and later at Apple in Amman, Jordan.
