The Madhya Pradesh government introduced the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, which was launched by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during Narmada Jayanti and officially kicked off on International Women’s Day, March 8. The primary goal of this initiative is to boost financial independence for women in the state. Recently, the scheme has been updated to include households with a tractor in its 3.0 version.
Applicants can now submit their forms for the MP Ladli Behna Scheme's third round, which currently offers a monthly stipend of Rs 1250 to support women from all communities, with a plan to increase this amount to Rs 3000. The scheme is available to women aged 21 to 60, including those who are married, divorced, or widowed. Administered by the Department of Women and Child Development, this scheme as per My Scheme, provides crucial financial support for daily needs and promotes greater empowerment. Ladli Behna Yojana: How To Apply
For the first and second phases of the Ladli Behna Yojana, the Madhya Pradesh government established application centres. Similarly, for the third phase, the state will also set up centres at various locations.
Eligible women in Madhya Pradesh can apply for monthly financial support by filling out the Offline Application Form for the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Scheme. The application forms for this scheme are available free of charge at the Village Council Office, Ward Office, or during specific events.
It’s crucial to complete the form accurately and include all required documents. Applicants should submit the completed form and documents to the Village Panchayat Office or Ward Office. Once submitted, the authorities will review and upload the application and documents to the relevant portal. After approval, the department will send an SMS notification to the applicant's mobile phone.

Ladli Behna Yojana: Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Scheme, applicants must:
- Be women residing in Madhya Pradesh.
- Be between the ages of 21 and 60 years.
- Have a family annual income not exceeding Rs 2,50,000.
- Be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh.
- Include those who are married, divorced, or facing poverty.
- Note: Families owning a tractor are now eligible to apply

Ladli Behna Yojana: Exclusions
- Eligibility for the Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Scheme does not extend to:
- Families where the combined self-declared annual income exceeds Rs 2.5 lakhs.
- Families with any member who is an income taxpayer.
- Families with any member who is employed as a regular/permanent worker or contract worker in a Government Department, Undertaking, Mandal, or Local Body of the Government of India or State Government, or who is receiving a pension after retirement.
