Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: After Hina Khan, Will Erica Fernandes Also Bid Adieu To The Show?

First Komolika and now Prerna? It seems that following Hina Khan (Komolika)'s an exit from Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, Prerna, the protagonist, aka Erica Fernandes might bid adieu to the show.

'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' began in September 2018 and has managed to stay atop the TRP charts since. The show's popularity, just like the first edition, is driven by the cast, Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan, and their dedicated portrayals of the conflicted characters--Prerna and Anurag Basu.

According to a report published in Mumbai Mirror, Erica's exit track is being worked upon by the writers of the show.

However, on her part, Erica has chosen to remain tight-lipped regarding the report.

A source told Mumbai Mirror that the writers of the show are currently working on how to justify her exit. At the moment, they have yet to figure if Erica will be replaced. Notably, Prerna's track will apparently end in a few days.

When Erica was contacted to confirm the news, she said, "I wouldn't want to comment on this."

Amidst all this, Ekta Kapoor has reportedly zeroed in on the new Mr. Bajaj and it is none other than Karan Singh Grover, who had played son-in-law to the original Prerna in the earlier version of the popular soap.

A few days back, Ekta took to Instagram to announce the return of the iconic character Mr. Bajaj. She shared an old clip of Prerna and Mr. Bajaj from Kasautii Zindagii Kay and captioned it as, "The time has come! To say bye to @ronitboseroy as d iconic mr bajaj! N d search for d new one@begins! I have cast (n not casted’ As someone told me) Ronit in many roles but this remains our most iconic one together @iam_ejf @the_parthsamthaan @realhinakhan @poojabanerjeee @subhavi all have been perfect as anurag Prerna komo Nivi .. willl bajaj match up( hmmmm)."
