The creator behind these adorable Mirumi dolls is Yukai Engineering CEO Shunsuke. His inspiration behind these charms was to invoke small moments of joy in everyday life. He went on to say, “There’s a very special kind of cuteness when a baby, held in a parent’s arms, quietly peeks through the gap and makes eye contact with you.” Shunsuke went on to explain how this gentle moment naturally makes you smile or wave back. With their Mirumi charms, they wanted to invoke the same warm feeling when people would catch these dolls. He continued saying, “We wanted to capture that warm, heart-melting feeling and bring it into a small, everyday companion.”
These Mirumi dolls from Japan are designed to respond naturally to sound and touch through a smart mix of sensors and their proprietary algorithm. Your Mirumi charm can nod, turn, shake and cocks its head in varied ways, just like an actual baby.
