How To Earn Crores By Paying Bills?

The government of India introduced ‘Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar’ on September 1, 2023. It is a scheme involving incentives for participants. According to a circular by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), the scheme has been launched on a pilot basis to spread awareness about taking bills after making a purchase.

A few things that it includes,

• All residents of India, irrespective of their Union Territories (UTs) and States, are eligible to participate in this scheme. However, currently, it is only accessible to residents of Haryana, Assam, Gujarat, Puducherry, Daman and Diu, and Dadar Nagar Haveli.
• All the B2C bills issued to customers by GST-registered suppliers in the aforementioned states and UTs are eligible to be uploaded on the platform.
• You can upload challans, grocery bills, movie receipts, and restaurant bills. The minimum value of challan that would be considered for the luck draw is ₹200.
• A person will be eligible for the lucky draw only if they have uploaded 25 challans on the portal in a month.

Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar: How Does Uploading Bill Help You Earn Money

• All you have to do is visit web.merabill.gst.gov.in or download the ‘Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar’ application on your Android or iOS phones.
• Click the picture of the invoice you want to upload, fill in the requisite details, and wait for your name to appear on the lucky draw.
• Fininfluencer Himani Chowdhary shared, “The monthly draws include 800 lucky draws of GST invoices of ₹10,000 each.”
• If you are among the top 10 lucky draws, the government will give you ₹10 lakh.
• There will be a bumper every quarter in which the winner can win ₹1 crore from the government.

Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar: Dos And Don’ts

• You should upload any duplicate invoices with fake or inactive GSTIN because the system will automatically reject them.
• If you win the lucky draw, you will be informed via alert message or notification on the application or web portal. You will have to share your credentials like Bank Account Details, PAN number, Aadhar Card, etc. within 30 days of receiving the notification.
• The pilot scheme will be active only for a year.
