How to PF Balance With UAN?

You need an active Universal Account Number (UAN) to check your EPF account balance. UAN is a unique code provided to each individual which stays unchanged throughout their employment regardless of whether or not they switch jobs. Here is how you can use the number to check your balance:

1. Visit the EPF website (Free Websites For SAT Preparation) and click on ‘e-Passbook’ on the homepage.
2. After entering your UAN number, password, and captcha, press 'Sign In'.
3. Click on ‘Passbook’.
4. Choose the ‘Member ID’ option to access your PF details.
5. Print the passbook if needed by clicking on ‘Download as PDF’.

PF Balance Check Using the UMANG/EPFO App

You can check your EPF balance by logging in to the Unified Mobile Application (Safety Apps) for New-age Governance (UMANG) app by following these steps:

1. Visit the Google Play Store or App Store and download the UMANG app.
2. Log into the app by clicking on the profile picture. First, choose the ‘Services’ option then click ‘Social Security’.
3. Choose the ‘EPFO’ option.
4. Click the ‘View Passbook’ option under ‘Employee Centric Service’.
5. After entering your UAN code, choose the ‘Get OTP’ option.
6. Type the OTP you have received on your registered phone number and click ‘Submit’.
7. Select the company from which you want to check and download the EPF passbook.

How to Check PF Balance Without UAN?

If you are not aware of your UAN number and can't derive it, here is how you can check your account balance through missed calls and SMS:

1. Drop an SMS at 7738299899 or a missed call at 9966044425 through your registered phone number.
2. The SMS must be sent in the format ‘EPFOHO UAN ENG' (the last three letters indicate the preferred language).
