He Was Married With Two Kids: Neena Gupta On Her Relationship With Vivek Mehra

Neena Gupta recently opened up about her marriage with her husband Vivek Mehra, and the tough times they both faced as a couple. They have been married for 14 years now. The actor is enjoying the success of her films and is at the peak of her career. The 63-year old shared her story with Humans of Bombay and this is what she revealed.

During the lockdown, Gupta shared several pictures with Mehra, enjoying themselves at their Mukteshwar home. She shared how her husband used to give her head massages because salons were shut down.

During the interview, the actor shared her meet-cute story. She said she had a special connection with planes because that is where she met Mehra. “It was difficult because he was already married with two children. It was a tough time for me, a very very tough time. Nikal gaya (It has passed).”

‘I Will Not Do Anything For Him Like I Will Do For Masaba’

We know Gupta as an incredible actor and outspoken woman who has never shied away from expressing her thoughts. She has never been apologetic about how she feels and has always unabashedly shared her opinions with the world time and again.

While giving this interview, the actor said that she does not believe there is love between a man and a woman. She feels that incredible bond is there only with her child, Masaba Gupta, fashion designer, entrepreneur and actor. She believes that any relationship starts with lust, and if two people get along, they become affectionate towards each other. They develop a liking for one another and slowly it becomes a habit.

The Uunchai actor added, “For my husband, I will do, I do a lot, but I will not do anything for him as I will do for Masaba.”

Vivek Mehra’s Relationship With Masaba

In 2021, Vivek Mehra gave an interview with ETimes in which he opened up about his relationship with Masaba Gupta. He said, “With Masaba, it’s excellent. These days she is taking a lot of my time as we discuss work. I help and advise her and that shows she trusts me. And I have equal trust in her.”

Mehra shared that when he married Neena, Masaba was a teenager. Before tying the knot, the couple dated for four to five years. In the initial months, Masaba was concerned about him but gradually became cordial. “I am a very likeable guy,” he added.
