The setting looked very much like a mehndi or sangeet celebration, complete with music and lively friends in the background.

Soon after the rumours began, it became clear that the video wasn’t from an actual marriage at all. The clip was part of Hania Aamir’s 29th birthday celebration, which was themed around a wedding. She later posted a video explaining that she had thrown a “Fake wedding party for fun”.

In the video, Hania is seen laughing and sharing moments from the celebration, making it clear that the wedding-like setup, from the bridal dress to wedding setup, was all part of the party’s concept. So while Asim Azhar attended the birthday party and shared the dance with Hania, no official wedding or nikah took place between them.
