The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming Hindi film Goodbye starring Rashmika Mandanna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Neena Gupta is finally out. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 7, 2022.
“A part of our #Goodbye baby is now yours.. This one is special for so many reasons but for now I hope you and your family like this..” wrote Mandanna while sharing the trailer.
The film further features actors Pavail Gulati, Sahil Mehta, and Sunil Grover, in addition to Swedish actor Elli AvrRam in pivotal roles. In the film, Gupta and Bachchan play the parents of Mandanna, Gulati, and Mehta while Grover plays a priest.
Goodbye is a take on tragedy of death, looked through a comical lens similar to Pagglait and Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi. The upcoming film is a heart-warming story about life, family, and relationships filled with laughter, warmth and tears.
The three-minute trailer shows how a modern dysfunctional family deals with the death of their mother. The father-daughter relationship looks like to be the main focus of the film.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures, the upcoming film is co-produced and directed by filmmaker Vikas Bahl’s production Good Co.
The first poster of the film was released and the release date was announced on July 24, 2022. Regarding the announcement, Mandanna had written on social media, “finally get to say this. My Hindi debut film - GOODBYE! with @SrBachchan sir @Neenagupta001 ma’am #VikasBahl and a maaaaaad cool cast @pavailkgulati #SahilMehta #abhishek and so many such amazing actors and technicians .. Goodbye marks the debut of Mandanna in Bollywood who primarily works in the Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada film industries. The actor, who is currently one of the highest paid South Indian actors charging ₹2 to 4 crores per film, debuted with the 2016 Kannada film Kirik Party. She went on to act in several South Indian films including Chamak, Devadas, Bheeshma, and rose to fame across the country with Vijay Deverakonda starrer 2019 Telugu film Dear Comrade and the Allu Arjun starrer 2021 Telugu film Pushpa: The Rise. She has another Bollywood film, Mission Majnu with Sidharth Malhotra, in the pipeline.
