Observed on the Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month, every year, the festival of Dhanteras will begin at 10:31 am on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, and end at 1:15 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. While it should be celebrated on October 30, as per the Udaya Tithi, this year, we will celebrate it on October 29. This is because the worship of Dhanteras is supposed to be done in the evening.

“The shubh muhurat to worship Lord Dhanvantari on the day of Dhanteras will be from 6:31 pm to 8:44 pm on October 29. On the other hand, the pradosh kaal on Dhanteras will start at 5:38 pm and end at 8:13 pm. Apart from this, the Vrishabha Kaal will start at 6:13 pm and end at 8:27 pm,” shared astrologer Vats.

“Uttaraphalguni nakshatra will start with the beginning of the Tithi on October 29, 2024, and will remain till 6:34 pm. The Tripushkar yoga is also being formed on this day from 6:31 am to 10:31 am on October 30. Apart from this, Indra Yoga will also remain from 6:45 am to 7:48 am.
