Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most adorable couples of the B-town. Ever since the power couple tied the knot, they have been giving us goals! The two never shy away from PDA and look so in love. We are always looking forward to events where the couple makes a public appearance together and one such event took place recently in Mumbai. It was the Femina Beauty Awards 2019. The couple got dressed in their best for this event.
While Deepika wore a black long trail gown by Amit Aggarwal. Ranveer donned a floral pink formal suit. The two complemented each other really well and as they stepped in together, they stole the show. But there was something more interesting than that! During the event, Deepika was asked to reveal some secrets of her husband and her answers made us all laugh like crazy. Read on to know more about them.
At the event, Deepika was asked about Ranveer’s beauty secrets. Deepika compared herself with husband Ranveer. She said, “He takes longer in the shower, longer in the loo, longer to get ready, longer to get into bed...” The audience cracked up hearing that and then Deepika clarified, “I said longer to get into bed.”

Deepika also shared that Ranveer always messages her to ask which outfit is suiting him before he wears it. She shared that he always has around 20 options to choose from.
Ranveer has always said that he is truly blessed to have married Deepika. In an interview, he said, "Honestly, it’s an amazingly blessed time. I am really happy about everything but the best part of it all is that I’ve got married. You know, in spite of everything that has happened in my life, it’s the first time I feel that I have achieved something, ke maine life mein kuch kiya hai, kucch ukhada hai (laughs). It’s a really warm and wonderful feeling. I feel so grounded, secure and empowered. If feels as if I have a superpower now. With her on my side, I feel invincible and protected knowing that there’s someone who cares about me. Our relationship is really stronger and deeper than ever before." In another interview, Ranveer shared another secret of his married life. He said, “My life is made because my wife Deepika prepares rasam rice for me.”
On the occasion of the latest beauty awards, Ranveer was asked to name Deepika's favourite lip colour and sadly he failed to answer. However, he made up by calling Deepika an angel of his dreams, the light of his life and we all had heart eyes popping up! Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh won the Beautiful Couple of the Year award at the Femina Beauty Awards. Deepika also received the Woman Of The Year Award.
We absolutely love Ranveer and Deepika’s chemistry. They just began their married life and look happy together. On the professional front, the couple is doing immensely well. Ranveer’s latest release Gully Boy is winning hearts and doing great box office. He is now working on his next, ’83 directed by Kabir Khan. Deepika, on the other hand, is working on her first production, Chhapaak. In the movie, Deepika will be seen playing the role of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. This one will be helmed by Raazi director Meghna Gulzar.
