Deepika Chikhalia, Ramayana's Sita, Urges PM Modi For Mother Sita's Idol In Ayodhya

The consecration of Lord Ram’s Idol in Ayodhya is a highly anticipated event in the history of India. The event is scheduled for 22nd January. As per reports, the selected status of the Lord Ram is crafted by the renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj. There will be a grand celebration not just in Ayodhya but the entire country will celebrate the ceremony. From PM Modi to Arun Govil, several prominent personalities will participate in the event. Dipika Chikhlia, known for her role of Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan television serial will also participate as a special guest at the inauguration program of Ram Mandir.

Deepika Chikhlia Shared Her Joy

In a recent interview, Dipika Chikhalia shared her enthusiasm and excitement about the inauguration ceremony going to be held on 22nd January. While expressing her devotion to Lord Ram, she emphasised on the importance and emotional aspect of his return to Ayodhya (all about ram mandir) after 500 years. She added that this moment holds sentimental value for her in every aspect as a devotee and as an actress. She shared her joy upon receiving the invitation from the RSS office. She said that they acknowledged her as Sita Ji and emphasised her importance to the entire country. Her happiness knew no bounds after she received the invitation and acknowledgement.

Deepika Chikhlia Urge To PM Modi

While talking about her joy, she shared her sadness over the absence of an idol of Mother Sita alongside Lord Rama in Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. She has hoped that there will be inclusion of Mother Sita’s Idol as well but it is not happening. She urged PM Modi to request the installation of the Mother Sita Idol alongside the Lord Ram statue in Ayodhya. She emphasised her desire to witness this moment. Her heartfelt appeal has added a significant dimension to the grand event and reflected her deep emotional connection with the character she played in the serial.
