The picture of a woman in saffron clothes and a head gear from a United Nations event has gone viral on social media. The woman is referred to as "Ma Vijayapriya Nithyananda" by Kailasa on Twitter.
She was representing "The United States of Kailasa”, a country set up by self-styled godman and rape-accused Nithyananda. Kailasa, reportedly located off the coast of Ecuador, has its own passport, flag, and even a 'Reserve Bank of Kailasa'.
In the tweet posted by Kailasa's official Twitter handle, the woman is seen wearing saffron clothes, gold (or golden coloured) jewellery, a rudraksh and a headgear at the United Nations event.

It should be noted that Nithyananda is a fugitive from India. A self-styled Godman, he used to run many ashrams across India that he ultimately deserted to flee the country after charges of sexual assault and abuse were levied against him.
The woman, dressed in a saree, wearing a turban and jewellery, introduced herself at the UN meeting as the "permanent ambassador of the United States of Kailasa".
She is the one who spoke during the discussion organised by Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) and demanded protection for the "supreme pontiff of Hinduism". She said Nithyananda is being persecuted for reviving the ancient traditions of Hinduism and even banned from his birth country.

In the UN convention, Vijayapriya Nithyananda alleged that her supreme guru was being "persecuted in India for reviving Hindu traditions". Vijayapriya asked at the United Nations meeting what measures could be taken at the national and international level to prevent the persecution of Nithyananda and the 20 million Hindu migrant population in Kailasa.

The United Nations on Wednesday responded to the queries about Nithyananda's delegation attending public meetings in Geneva on February 24, saying that the inputs provided by the organisation of the 'self-proclaimed' figure would not be taken into consideration.
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva said the comments by Vijayapriya Nithyananda were made when the floor was opened to the public.
