Board Exam Results Declared, Girls Outshine Boys

Board exam results for classes 10th & 12th have been declared across multiple states in India, and just like the statistics of the past few years, girls have continued to outperform boys and make a mark for themselves. Read on.

Board exam results have been announced over the past few days across multiple states in India including Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. And what has been noticed across states is that girl candidates have outperformed boys and have proven their mettle.

girlexamThe Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh declared the class 10th result on May 6, 2023. This year, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 72.26%. According to updates, this year 933 schools have achieved a 100% pass, and 38 schools registered. This time girls have outperformed boys. The pass percentage of girls and boys has been recorded at 75.38% and 69.27% respectively.

The Bihar Secondary Examination Board declared the Bihar Board 10th result on March 31, 2023. Girls have continued to shine in the BSEB too with Namrata Kumari securing the second position, the third position being held by Gyani Anupama. Following them, Sanju Kumari and Bhavna Kumari also secured high ranks.

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has also announced its class 12th results on Monday May 8, 2023, wherein girl students have yet again outshone boys.

cbsexamAccording to The Deccan Herald, The School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said out of the 8 lakh students who appeared for the plus-two exams held in March, as many as 7.55 lakh students have cleared the exams successfully, registering 94.03 per cent. Also, the pass percentage of girl students is 96.38, while boys were behind by 91.45 percentage. One transgender student who appeared for the exam also cleared the exam. The percentage of girls is 4.93 higher than that of boys.

In addition to this, the CBSE is also due to announce the class 10th and 12th results and the results will be available on results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and digilocker.gov.in. Students can check their scores using their roll numbers, admit card ID, school number and date of birth.
