Bigg Boss 16 Daily Highlights: Gautam Vig Becomes The New Captain Of The House

Another day in bigg boss house with high-voltage drama and cat fights. The day starts with Archana telling Gori not to waste food as she threw poha in the dusdbin because it was too spicy for her to have. Abdu haves a sweet and cute chat with Sreejita De because of how she threw her sunglasses and how are people fighting in the house. Sajid tells Abdu to tell Shalin that she's a bad actor. (jokingly). It is also seen that Tina and Shalin discuss the love relationships happening in the house. Tina tells him that they are little more than than friends

Later Shalin puts his demand infront of having chicken before Archana as it is advised by his doctor. He and Archana creats a huge fuss because of just having chicken in the house. Nimirit advises him that chicken will be distributed equally among of the non vegetarians in the Bigg House. But Archana is not ready to accept all this and ends up in a small fight with Nimrit, Shalin and Sreejita.

Later in the show, Shekhar Suman annouces a segment called "Big Bulletin With Shekar". The first person he calls is Priyanka. She tells that Gautam is a flirty guy and had little or more flirted with everyone in the house. She calls Ankit Gupta one of his closest friend and she would never leave him. About Shalin she says that he's nice but cannot be his friend. Next up in the show was Ankit Gupta to have a chat with Shekar. He tells that he has seen a lot of things in life and these things happening in the house does’nt effect him much. He's trying to open up and he's good with everyone in the house. He considers Sreejita De as another person is close with in the house. Later, Soundarya and Archana have a cat fight with each together again because of the food. Archanan complanited that after coocking five dishes Soudarya asked her to make tofu for her which she considered stupid as she alrady prepared five dishes.

Shalin is still confused about sorting things with Sumbul. Shalin advises Sumbul to behave like mature and not behave like kid. Tina Dutta tells Shalin to ask Sumbul that if she like likes her or she has feelings for her or have a one to one conversation regarding this matter. Later Sumbul have a chat with Shalin and says that she’s hurted because of his behaviour and he is not understanding her properly.

Bigg Boss scolds Nimrit and says that no one is following the rules in the house and she is distributing the chocolates to everyone. Hence, she gets removed from the the position of captain. Bigg boss later says that there will be a buzzer round and the first two people hitting the bell with be competing for the captaincy task. Gautam and Shiv become the first two people to hit the bell and participate in the captaincy task. Everyone in the house brings the items to fill up the bucket carried by the two boys. Gautam is declared as the new captain of the house. Shiva is unhappy with her decision and says that Nimrit had made a wrong decision and was fully biased during the captaincy task.

Sumbul Touqeershares that Shiv told her to go behind Shalin and abused her with Shalin, Tina, Priyanka and Ankit. Shalin goes to Shiv and talks regarding this matter. Regarding this matter Sajid, MC stan and Shalin fight, Sajid says that he'll leave this house as Shalin is way too aggresive and things get heated up. Archana also says that Shalin pushed her with suitcase during the captaincy task and ask for immmdeiate action. Later bigg boss ask the new captain that has Shalin crossed his line? Gautam has to make a decision regarding this and he says that he should be eliminated. But Bigg Boss decision is not the same, he declares that Shalin did it unintensionally and as for the punishment because he’s not obeying the rules, he will not be a part of captaincy task in future and he will be in the elimations for the next two weeks. Later Sajid is guilty and sorry for his behavior with Shalin.But now he is not ready to listen anything. Sajid says we’ll talk later and leaves the room.
