Republic Day 2024 Beating Retreat Ceremony: Check Out The Highlights From The Event

Every year, the Republic Day ceremony ends with the Beating Retreat ceremony in India. The Republic Day celebrations begin with the Parade at the Kartavya Path and formally end with the Beating Retreat ceremony at the Vijay Chowk, New Delhi. Beating Retreat Ceremony Highlights

The ceremony features performances by the Indian military and CAPF bands with a beautiful view of the Raisina Hills. The three wings of the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) will be indulging us all in an evening of military pageantry and musical prowess.

A number of martial music, patriotic tunes, and popular melodies are played at the ceremony as part of the celebrations.

Commencing with the massed band's rendition of 'Shankhnaad,' the event will continue with tunes such as 'Veer Bharat', 'Sangam Dur,' and 'Arjuna' by the Pipes and Drums band. Along with this, the CAPF bands will perform renditions like 'Bharat Ke Jawan' and 'Vijay Bharat.'

The evening will conclude with the final performance of 'Saare Jahan se Acha.'
