The tale follows Kalidasa, who initially used to be a simple-minded man and was deceived into marrying a princess who showed him no respect. After being distressed by his life, he even contemplated ending his life. Before Kalidasa could take action on his negative thoughts, Goddess Saraswati arrived before him. She instructed him to take a bath in the river. Once he came out of the river, he had transformed into a wise individual.
