Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious occasion to purchase gold and worship the same. However, it is also believed that we should not lend, borrow, gift or let the gold out of our houses in any way. This can make Goddess Lakshmi angry.

Refrain From Removing Broom From House

It is believed to worship brooms on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. On this day, the broom is kept in an open place for some time after the puja. However, you can hide it later. Here, you should remember to not throw brooms outside the house as it is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi.

Refrain From Removing Pot From House

If you have a pot, never throw it or leave it empty on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. You can use the pot to fill it with water and if you have a broken pot, you can fill it with soil. An empty pot can lead to vast issues in the house. However, a pot filled with soil or water prevents financial loss in the house.

Refrain From Purchasing Aluminium Utensils

It is not considered auspicious to purchase aluminium utensils on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. It is believed that this can lead to financial loss and bad omen.

Refrain From Purchasing Black Clothes

Remember, not to purchase black coloured clothes on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya (fasting rules on akshaya tritiya). It is believed that black colour brings negativity and because Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious occasion, one should refrain from wearing black clothes as well.
