Aishwarya Rai Bachchan And Daughter Aaradhya Admitted To Hospital After Symptoms Worsen

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 last Sunday. Abhishek Bachchan confirmed the news with a tweet. He wrote, "Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers."

The two had mild symptoms earlier but reportedly, their symptoms worsened today and they have been shifted to Nanavati Hospital now. According to reports, both Aishwarya and Aaradhya had developed breathlessness. Earlier they had mild symptoms like throat pain and fever. ANI took to Twitter and confirmed. ANI tweeted, "Mumbai: Aaradhya Bachchan, daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, who tested positive for #COVID19 has been admitted at Nanavati Hospital."

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan also tested positive for coronavirus and were admitted to Nanavati Hospital. Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news on Twitter. He wrote,  "I have tested CoviD positive ..  shifted to Hospital  .. hospital informing  authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!"

Later, Abhishek Bachchan too informed everyone about being COVID positive. The hospital authorities informed that the two are in stable condition.

In an interview, the hospital stated, “(Amitabh and Abhishek) are in the (isolation) ward and are clinically stable. At present, they do not require aggressive treatment. They are okay with the first line of medication. They are being given supportive therapy. Their vitals and appetite are fine."

Amitabh Bachchan has been very active on his social media ever since he has been hospitalised. He has been thanking his fans for all their love and wishes. Today, he posted a happy picture with son Abhishek and wrote, "In happy times , in times of illness, you our near and dear, our well wishers, our fans have ever given us unstinting love , affection care and prayer .. we express our bountiful gracious gratitude to you all .. in these circumstances hospital protocol is restrictive , so individual responses are not possible .. but we see, read, hear all of you .. thank you ever 🙏."
