The winners of the 68th National Film Awards will be awarded today in New Delhi. Due to COVID-19 delays this year’s awards ceremony will honour films from 2020 as well. The 2020 National Film Awards report was previously submitted to I&B Minister Anurag Thakur by ten jury members, including filmmaker Vipul Shah. The main categories include, among others, Best Actors, Feature Films, Non-Feature Films, and Best Writing on Film. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2020 will be given to renowned actress Asha Parekh, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Many film industry superstars will receive national awards in various categories. All of the cinema personalities will be honoured by President Draupadi Murmu. A special jury chooses the names of the winners for these awards. This year's 68th National Film Awards were revealed in July. The Best Acting Awards are going to go to actors Ajay Devgan and Suriya. This year's National Awards were dominated by South films.

2. Best Actress – Aparna Balamurali (for Soorarai Pottru)
3. Best Hindi Film – Tulsidas Jr.
4. Best Director – Malayalam Director Sachidanandan KR (Ayyappanam Koshiyum)
5. Best Supporting Actor – Biju Menon (for AK Ayyappanam Koshiyum)
6. Special Mention Jury Award – Child Artist Varun Buddhadev
7. Best Supporting Actress – Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli (for the movie Shivaranjiniyam Inum Sila Pengalum)
8. Special Mention State – Uttarakhand and UP
9. Most Film Friendly State – Madhya Pradesh
10. Best Writing on Cinema Award – The Longest Kiss
