The month of September is almost over, and some fantastic Korean dramas were released again this month. From the exciting Little Women to the comforting Once Upon a Small Town and the fun Love in Contract. The dramas releasing in October have newer themes and stories that will keep you hooked. Here's a list of upcoming K-dramas in October 2022 on Netflix.
1. Cheer Up
Do Hae-Yi is a brilliant student from a poor financial background, who joins the school cheering club Teyia for money. However, this student who always had money as her priority now gets to live a carefree campus life with this cheering squad and meet new people each day who changes her outlook on life.
Directed by Han Tae-seob, the drama stars Han Ji-hyun, Bae In-hyuk, Lee Eun-saem, Kim Hyun-jin, and Lee Min-jae alongside other cast members.
2. Bad Prosecutor
This Korean drama follows the delinquent prosecutor Jin Jung, who fights the greedy by breaking down their wealthy and powerful sanctuaries with unconventional methods. He won't follow protocol and will instead use other tricks and tactics to eliminate each of them one by one. Directed by Kim Sung-ho, the drama stars Doh Kyung-soo, Lee Se-hee, Ha Joon, Joo Bo-young, and Lee Si-eon alongside other cast members.

This Netflix sci-fi mystery drama is about a woman named Hong Ji-hyo (Jeon) who can see aliens. She tries to ignore these strange occurrences until her boyfriend suddenly disappears. Ji-hyo then consults an UFO-watching club only to uncover a mysterious controversy. Heo Bo-ra (NANA) plays her childhood friend who helps her in this quest. It is directed by Roh Deok. This drama cast includes this year's top-rated Korean drama series Vincenzo's female lead Jeon Yeo-been, NANA, Lee Dong-hwi, and Ryu Kyung-soo.

4. The Queen’s Umbrella
The tvN show follows Queen Im Hwa ryung, living a life by trial each day, who withstands this life for her children. She belongs to the Joseon dynasty and has been entrusted with the duty of making five mischievous princes worthy of their royal titles. It portrays her challenges as she tries hard so that they become respectable princes of the palace in this Korean drama releasing in October 2022. It is directed by Kim Hyung-sik. The cast includes Kim Hye-so, Kim Hae-sook, and Choi Won-young as the main characters.

5. Yonder

Adapted from Kim Jang Hwan’s novel ‘Goodbye, Yonder’, the show is set amid South Korea’s sprawling cities in the year 2040. It is the story of a man who is in constant pain, for being unable to forget his dear wife for dying of cancer. One day, he decides to leave his body behind and move in with his wife after receiving an unknown email. It will depict a world in which one can live forever without dying and will explore the meanings of happiness (What Are Happiness Hormones And How To Boost Them) , sadness, memory loss, and perpetual life.
