  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • sugar as required
  • pistachios as required
  • 1 litre milk
  • 200 gm condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • almonds as required
  • 5 strand saffron

Kesar Pista Ice Cream Recipe

Step 1: Start by boiling some milk until it is reduced by half. Add in those saffron strands for that extra flavour kick. Now, grab a big jar or any similar container. Mix up some whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla essence until it gets frothy.

Step 2: In another pan, pour in the sweetened condensed milk and keep stirring it up. Toss in those chopped almonds, pistachios and saffron milk. Cook it until it thickens up nicely. Turn off the heat and blend in the frothy cream mixture.

Step 3: Pour the blended ice cream mix into a container and seal it up tight. Keep it in the fridge. After 3 hours, take it out - it'll be halfway set. Give it a good blend with a blender.

Step 4: Sprinkle some chopped almonds and pistachios on top of the ice cream. Put the container back in the fridge overnight. The next day, your homemade ice cream is ready to be devoured!
