Instant Khaman Dhokla Ingredients

  • 1 cup Besan
  • 1/4 cup Sour Curds
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Green Chili paste
  • 1 tsp ENO Fruit Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 10-12 Curry Leaves
  • 3-4 slit Green Chilies

Instant Khaman Dhokla Recipe

  1. Take a bowl and mix besan and sour curd.
  2. Add in turmeric powder, salt, sugar, ginger green chilli paste and mix well. Add more water to make a smooth consistent paste of flowing consistency.
  3. Add in the fruit salt, mix well and quickly pour into a greased mould.
  4. Steam for 20 minutes or Microwave for 4 minutes only.
  5. Allow to cool down completely.
  6. Dissolve 1 tsp sugar in a cup of water.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Allow to splutter and add in sliced green chillies. Cook till the chillies are fragrant.
  8. Soak the cooled dhokla with water and pour the tempering over it.
  9. Cut into desired pieces and serve with green chutney.
