Also, at times we don't find enough time to head to the market and shop for some veggies. This is when this delicious and easy to make recipe comes to the rescue. 

Tomatoes and onions are commonly used in every Indian household and available in our kitchens all around the year. If you don't have veggies in the refrigerator then you can prepare a delicious dish using tomatoes and onions. This tastes amazing and can be enjoyed with rice, rotis or parathas. You can prepare this easy recipe in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 Onions (sliced)
  • Oil for cooking
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1-2 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves (chopped)

Step

  1. Step 1:

    Take a kadhai and add oil. Add coriander seeds and fry.

  2. Step 2:

    Next add sliced onions and green chillies. Cook till the onions become soft.

  3. Step 3:

    Now sprinkle all the spices - red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, garam masala powder and mix well.

  4. Step 4:

    Add the chopped tomatoes and mix.

  5. Step 5:

    Cook for 10-12 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally.

  6. Step 6:

    You will see oil separating from the sabzi. This means your sabzi is ready. Take off flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
