Meals are always incomplete without a tasty and delicious dessert. Cakes, ice creams, mousse, cheesecakes - just thinking about these decadent delicacies has us drooling. However, if you are a vegetarian, then your options become limited. Most dessert recipes have eggs in them, and not everybody indulges in eggs. But that shouldn't stop one from indulging in sweet treats. So here are recipes of classic eggless desserts you can try at home.
1. Eggless Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:-
- 2 cups hot milk
- 100gm chocolate milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cream-chilled
- 1 tsp gelatin
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup water
- grated chocolate for garnish
How To Make:
Over the 1/2 cup of water, sprinkle the gelatin and let it sit. In a tiny pan pour some water and combine milk, sugar, and chocolate. Place the other pan and heat some water. The mixture should be heated properly, the sugar and chocolate should have melted as you stir the mixture constantly over low heat. Add the soaked gelatine after it is warm, and stir continuously. Turn off from the gas, stir in the vanilla, and then pour into serving bowls to cool. The remaining sugar and cream should be whipped until it keeps its shape. Add a thick layer of cream on top of the chocolate mixture once it has set.
2. Eggless Vanilla Cake
Ingredients:-
- 1 cup maida
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup castor sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp vinegar

How To Make:
Take sugar and butter in a bowl and whisk it well. Add maida to it. Then add half a cup of milk to the bowl and whisk again. Add vanilla essence to the whisked mixture, pour half a cup of milk into it, and whisk again. Put vinegar (Utilise Vinegar Not Just For Kitchen Works But For Beauty Purposes As Well) and pour the prepared cake batter into a container and bake it at 180-degree celsius for 20 minutes. When your cake is fully done cut it into small slices and serve.

3. Eggless Marble Cake
Ingredients
- 150 gms butter
- 150 gms flour
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- Castor sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
How to make:
Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the milk and vinegar. Fold in all the flour except 1 tbsp. Divide the batter in half. Fold 1 tbsp flour in 1 half and the cocoa in the other. Place in alternate spoonfuls in a greased and lined cake tin. Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 20-25 minutes. Turn out and cool.
For the icing, you can spread melted chocolate on it and serve.
