Fans rushed to the theatres when Pawan Kalyan’s latest cop drama, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, hit the big screens. However, despite the massive initial hype, the film is finding it quite difficult to cross the coveted ₹100 crore milestone. Looking at the broader picture, the worldwide gross currently sits at a decent ₹83.47 crore, as per a Sacnilk report. This includes a total India gross of ₹73.35 crore and a modest ₹10.12 crore from overseas markets, as per Sacnilk reports.
Alongside Pawan Kalyan, the film boasts a strong supporting cast featuring Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, and R Parthiban in crucial roles. Fans had sky-high expectations for this release, especially since Kalyan’s previous action entertainer, ‘OG’, directed by Sujeeth, proved to be a massive superhit. But right now, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ seems to be telling a slightly different story at the ticket counters.

As the film enters its sixth day in cinemas, the numbers highlight a significant slowdown. Early live updates show that the movie has only collected a net of ₹0.04 crore today, as per a Sacnilk report. It is currently playing across just 611 shows nationwide, recording a rather low occupancy rate of 15.0%, as per the Sacnilk report.
This brings the updated total India gross to ₹73.40 crore and the total India net collection to roughly ₹62.30 crore so far, as per Sacnilk reports.
Note: These are real-time figures, the final and complete box office numbers for Tuesday will only become clear later tonight.
The real warning signs for the film started showing on its first Monday. Movies always face a crucial test right after the weekend, and ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ unfortunately struggled to hold its ground. On Day 5, the film managed to pull in just ₹1.96 crore, as per a Sacnilk report. The theatre count dropped to 2715 shows, and the audience occupancy fell to a concerning 20.0%, as per Sacnilk reports.

When you put it all together, the film opened brilliantly but failed to sustain the magic over the weekend. Time will tell if Pawan Kalyan's immense star power can drag the film past the ₹100 crore finish line before its theatrical run comes to an end.
