Pawan Kalyan's sheer box office dominance simply isn't up for debate. His star power alone rocketed ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ right into the top 10 all-time Telugu opening days. But the weekday numbers paint a starkly different picture.
Audiences seem to feel the storyline is quite predictable, leading to one of the actor's weakest opening weeks since the end of the pandemic. After a strong initial weekend, the daily earnings have steadily plummeted, making the journey to the elusive ₹100 crore mark look incredibly difficult.

As of Day 9, the film's earning pace has drastically reduced. Currently running across 222 shows, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ has collected a net of just ₹0.01 crore in live, early estimates for today. According to the latest Sacnilk report, this pushes the total India gross collections to ₹78.79 crore.
Meanwhile, the total India net collection currently sits at ₹66.98 crore. Keep in mind that these are real-time, early figures, and the final numbers for the ninth day will become clear late tonight once all evening and night shows conclude.
On Day eight (second Thursday), the film managed to pull in just ₹1.02 crore. Cinema owners ran 1,890 shows across the country, but the overall occupancy hovered at a dismal 18.0%. This sharp drop highlights the film's struggle to keep casual moviegoers interested once the hardcore fans had their fill during the opening weekend.

The makers reportedly spent around ₹150 crore to bring ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ to life. Right now, the film requires a massive push to even come close to its break-even point. Unless footfall miraculously spikes this coming weekend, the project might struggle to recover its hefty budget.
