Rajkummar Rao is back with yet another impactful role. He is set to lead a motivating biopic, inspired by the visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla’s exceptional life. Followed by the release of the first look and BTS of the actor with his inspiration, the trailer was launched on Tuesday.
Srikanth Trailer Release
‘Srikanth’ is an upcoming Hindi movie that will be narrating the life story of the inspirational Srikanth Bolla and the trailer proves that no one other than Rajkummar Rao could fit the role. The trailer opens with APJ Abdul Kalam’s famous quote, “Dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep.” A room full of students express what they want to be in front of the former President when Srikanth says he wishes to be the first visually challenged President; and thus begins his journey of immense valour and dedication.
In the era when Indian colleges and universities did not provide admission in science to visually impaired students, despite their scores, Bolla’s stubbornness led him to get scholarships from top global institutions. With the support of a great teacher and APJ Abdul Kalam himself, he went on to build a company where he hires blind people.
Srikanth Release Date And Cast
The much-awaited Bollywood film is set to get a theatrical release on May 10, 2024. Other than Rajkummar Rao as Srikanth, we will get to see Jyothika, Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar in the titular film directed by Tushar Hiranandani.
