The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) took place in Dubai on September 14, 2024, recognising excellence in the major South Indian film industries: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

While Nani secured the Best Actor (Telugu) award for his role in ‘Dasara,’ Rakshit Shetty was honoured with the Best Actor (Kannada) award for ‘Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side A.’ Additionally, Nani’s films ‘Dasara’ and ‘Hi Nanna’ received multiple accolades.

Keerthy Suresh, who starred alongside Nani in 'Dasara,' was honoured with the Best Actress award, while Mrunal Thakur, Nani's co-star in 'Hi Nanna,' received the Best Actress (Critics) accolade. Balakrishna's 'Bhagwant Kesari' clinched the Best Film award, with Dheekshith Shetty and Kiara Khanna winning in the supporting actor categories for 'Dasara' and 'Hi Nanna,' respectively. 'Baby' also stood out, with Anand Devarakonda winning Best Actor (Critics), Vaishnavi Chaitanya named Best Debutant Actress, and Sai Rajesh awarded Best Director (Critics) for the film.
