Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: Ajay Devgn’s latest release ‘Raid 2’, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, is nearing the ₹80 crore mark at the Indian box office, but not without challenges. According to box office tracking platform Sacnilk, the film has collected a total of ₹79.09 crore in six days. While the crime thriller enjoyed a successful extended weekend, it has witnessed a significant drop in collections since Monday.
Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day-Wise
The film opened on a strong note with ₹19.25 crore on its first day, which was a Thursday. As per Sacnilk, it dropped by 37.66% on Friday, earning ₹12 crore. The numbers picked up again on Saturday with ₹18 crore, marking a 50% increase from the previous day. Sunday proved to be the film’s best day so far, bringing in ₹22 crore, a 22.22% rise from Saturday’s collection.

Despite the strong weekend, ‘Raid 2’ struggled to sustain momentum on Monday. The film managed to earn ₹7.75 crore, according to rough data provided by Sacnilk, reflecting a steep 64.77% decline. Tuesday’s earnings fell even further to ₹0.09 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. These sharp weekday drops have slowed the film’s box office journey, although it remains just shy of the ₹80 crore milestone.
Raid 2 Overview and Cast
‘Raid 2’ is the sequel to the 2018 hit ‘Raid’, which also starred Ajay Devgn in the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik. The first film was inspired by a real-life Income Tax raid from the 1980s. Director Raj Kumar Gupta returns with the sequel, along with Devgn, and introduces a new cast lineup. Vaani Kapoor steps in as Devgn’s wife, replacing Ileana D’Cruz. Riteish Deshmukh plays the main antagonist, a powerful and corrupt politician. The film also features Rajat Kapoor as the Income Tax Commissioner, with strong support from Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, and Saurabh Shukla.

Starting this Friday, ‘Raid 2’ will face new competition in cinemas with the release of ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’, a romantic comedy directed by Karan Sharma. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi and is backed by producer Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. The production house previously delivered one of Hindi cinema’s biggest hits with ‘Stree 2’, directed by Amar Kaushik.
