Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 36: Allu Arjun's Film Crosses Rs 1200 Mark, Beats Mufasa By Heavy Margin

The dialogue ‘Fire nahi, wildfire hai’ from the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ completely resonates with its box office collection day 36. Allu Arjuna and Rashmika Mandanna starrer action drama has amassed Rs 1215 crore in its 5th week and continues to be unstoppable at the box office. In the 5th week, Sukumar-directorial collected around Rs 2 crore, as per Sacnilk report. With these soaring numbers, the movie will hit the Rs. 25 crore mark net collection in India in the 5th week.

Despite being in theaters for over 30 days, the film continues to dominate the box office. Initially expected to face stiff competition from Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John' and Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King' in late December, 'Pushpa 2' remained unfazed. On Thursday, 'Pushpa 2' raked in crores, while 'Baby John' and 'Mufasa: The Lion King' earned significantly less, with Rs 17 lakhs and Rs 34 lakhs, respectively.

Allu Arjun On Pushpa 2 Breaking Language Barriers

In a recent promotional event, Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers, stating, “Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me”.
