Sabyasachi (Bengali)

Based on the classic novel by Saratchandra Chattopadhyay 'Pather Dabi', the 1977 movie ‘Sabyasachi’ is about a revolutionary who struggled to get India free from Britishers. Sabyasachi, played by Uttam Kumar, formed a secret revolutionary group to fight the British.

Ghazi (Telugu)

The Telugu version of the Bollywood patriotic movie ‘Ghazi Attack’, ‘Ghazi’ stars Rana Daggubati in the strong patriotic role of a Navy officer. The movie is about a situation where a war is soon going to strike between India and Pakistan. Amid this, a submarine from Pakistan secretly breaks into Indian waters.

Take Off (Malayalam)

Starring Malayali actors Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Parvathy Thiruvothu, ‘Take Off’ is a movie about terrorism. Sameera is an Indian nurse who is working in Iraq; she and her friends are held hostage by a group of terrorists. Manoj is an Indian ambassador who helps them escape.

1909 (Marathi)

The Marathi movie ‘1909’ is a must-watch. Inspired by the journey of the freedom fighters and legendary personalities Lokmanya Tilak and Vinayak Savarkar, a courageous boy Anant Kanhere who lives in a small village decides to take part in the freedom struggle.
