Tom Cruise's latest film, ‘Mission: Impossible-The Final Reckoning’ (also known as ‘Mission: Impossible 8’), has had a fairly successful start at the box office in its first three days of release. Even before its US debut, the movie managed to rake in Rs 150 crore globally. However, the film experienced a sharp drop of approximately 60.88% in its daily earnings at the Indian box office on Monday, May 19, 2025, according to Sacnilk.

'Mission Impossible 8' Box Office Collection Day 3

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ opened to glowing reviews from critics and audiences. While the opening weekend looked strong, the start of the week hasn’t maintained the same momentum.

According to data from Sacnilk, the film witnessed a noticeable dip in collections on Monday, May 19, 2025, despite a solid run over the weekend. Here's the day-wise box office breakup of the film’s performance in India:

  • Saturday: Rs 16.5 crore
  • Sunday: Rs 17 crore
  • Monday: Rs 6.75 crore

Total (3 days): Rs 40.25 crore

In terms of language-wise performance, the English version led the pack by collecting Rs 26 crore, followed by the Hindi version at Rs 11.95 crore. The Telugu and Tamil versions contributed Rs 1.4 crore and Rs 0.8 crore, respectively.

While the Monday drop of nearly 61% raised some concerns, the film is expected to continue its theatrical run without much competition this week. That said, its performance over the weekdays will be critical in deciding how far the film can go in the long term.
